Activities that the Leeds freedivers gets up to ?
The Dive club meets on a Monday at John Charles Centre Aquatics Centre at 8.30pm and on Friday night at Batley Sports and Tennis Centre at 9.00pm and then the social meeting at a near by pub to sink a few jars.
OCTOPUSH Is a fun-fast underwater game that will test your fitness to the limits. The idea is like underwater hockey, But your hockey stick is a single handed 12 inch long piece of wood, using snorkel and fins.
The idea is that one team tries to get the underwater puck to one side of the pool while the other team has other intentions. Monday night is when all the fun takes place just around 9:00 come down for a look and see if it's the game for you.
Boxing day event
Every year without fail the Leeds Freedivers take a trip to the dales ,everyone involved puts on there dry suits (only real men would wear wet suits,) and they throw themselves down the vigorous rapids of white water of the river Wharf.
